Sports Professionalisation Contract
On the sports flooring market, a large number of the disputes that occur are connected with installation errors and it can be easily foreseen that future developments will insist on installers having an ever-higher level of knowledge.
FieldTurf Tarkett has anticipated this and wishes to establish a certain level of skill in the installation of sports flooring. This is why Tarkett has initiated the creation of a sports flooring application technician diploma.
The curriculum extends over 18 months to two years, as a sandwich course, and enables all the techniques specific to the laying of sports floor finishes, indoors and outdoors, to be learnt.
The students split their time between their employers' sites and the classes, divided into modules, given by the Tarkett training centre on the group's factory site at Sedan.
The first students started their classes on 21st February 2005.
